Khristy holds a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University, where she worked in the federal work-study department in the admissions office. Khristy has over seven years of experience working with students and families and looks forward to helping Quad applicants achieve their goals.
Khristy was born in Trinidad and Tobago and faced the challenge of being an undocumented immigrant for 13 years before receiving her green card. As a first-generation applicant, Khristy was responsible for navigating the college application process with limited financial resources, which taught her the importance of access. However, this fueled her passion for guiding, supporting, and providing access to other students who face similar challenges.
Khristy is committed to ensuring that every candidate she works with (and their family) receives the best possible guidance and support throughout the college application process. Khristy learned that intentionality is key to a successful application. She helps candidates unpack their experiences into clear strengths and values, supporting them in aligning their values with schools that would be mutually beneficial.
Her coaching style emphasizes trust, respect, accountability, and empathy, breaking down long processes into manageable steps, supporting candidates in meeting deadlines, and practicing soft skills that colleges will demand. She excels at finalizing school lists, brainstorming and editing application materials, guiding students through various scholarship applications, and supporting them with developing and nurturing their non-academic passions.
Students that Khristy has recently coached have gotten accepted at several top-tier universities, including Stanford University, Columbia University, and Duke University.
Khristy is a proud new mother and loves watching her 9-month-old son meet new milestones and discover the world. She also enjoys writing poetry, journaling, meditating, and practicing self-care in her spare time.

Laura holds a Master of Education from Harvard University and a Master of Arts from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Laura has also served as an Alumni Interviewer, conducting interviews for prospective students. She has helped many students gain admission to top-tier schools, including Tufts, Harvard, Northeastern, and UCSD. Professionally, Laura has served as an International Proogram Specialist at NASA.
Her greatest learning from this experience is that applicants can spend so much time trying to fit into a mold of what they think an admissions team is looking for that they need to remember to value what they already have. The things that make them a different kind of candidate, things that they constantly try to make up for, are the part of them that has the most value to a program or school community.
Laura understands the immense pressure students face during the application process and has developed effective strategies for managing stress and staying grounded. One of Laura's greatest strengths is her ability to help students articulate their unique strengths and accomplishments. She strives to act as a supportive mirror, helping applicants see themselves in a new light and present their best selves to admissions committees. She is highly adaptable and tailors her approach to meet each client's specific needs. Laura values regular feedback and makes adjustments as necessary to ensure that students are making progress toward their goals.
As a coach, Laura excels at helping applicants who may feel stuck or overwhelmed with the application process. She understands that applying to college can be daunting, and her role is to help applicants see the light at the end of the tunnel. She keeps students positive while validating what a challenge this can be. Laura aims to remind students that the application process is the first step in their next big adventure. Too often, the process can lead to burnout in students who are already working hard in other areas of their life. Thus, she aims to get applicants into great colleges and ensure they start at their dream school with energy and excitement.
In her free time, Laura enjoys pursuing her passion for improv and teaching. She is also an avid outdoors enthusiast and loves to explore new cities, whether by mountain biking, diving, or simply strolling around town. When the weather isn't conducive to outdoor activities, she is content to spend time at home with a beloved pet and a good movie.

Instead of just teaching "exam hacks," Saumya loves helping students understand the "why" behind the solution and then employing exam hacks to help them solve problems more quickly.
Saumya loves teaching and seeing students reach their "breakthrough" moment. She is excited to get to know Quad students and help them through this process!
Outside of professional pursuits, Saumya loves spending time with her dog, Mallard.
