Will has more than 20 years of leadership experience in college admissions, student support, and enrollment operations. He has held senior roles at the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, and Temple University, including Director of Graduate Recruitment, Associate Director for MBA Admissions, and Assistant Director for Graduate Admissions. Will has helped students gain admissions to top schools, including Yale, MIT, Columbia, Brown, UPenn, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, NYU, and more.
Will holds a Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania. As the Director of Graduate Recruiting at Drexel University, Will reviewed applications and made recommendations to programs, as well as recommended applicants for scholarships. He also chaired a staff-and-faculty committee that recommended two new recruitment tools, including an alumni scholarship award and changing admissions criteria. He also trained faculty and staff that were involved in the application review and interview process.
At Temple University, Will recommended students for admission or rejection, evaluated and awarded scholars, and interviewed candidates. He also worked with the Senior Associate Director to revamp MBA admissions criteria. As the Assistant Director for Graduate Admissions at UPenn, he helped launch the Ivy League’s first online MS in computer science and oversaw the day-to-day operations of six PhD and 18 Master’s programs.
Will is passionate about coaching college applicants because he knows firsthand the power of finding your best “fit.” When he stepped onto the campuses of the schools he attended, he immediately felt a sense of belonging and wants students to experience that same confidence in their own choices. He believes that the application process is often overwhelming and is unnecessarily complicated—he sees his role as helping students cut through that noise, guiding them toward schools that align with their goals and values, and watching them gain clarity and confidence along the way.
As a coach, Will’s greatest strengths include 20 years of experience working with students at every level—from high schoolers to PhD students. That background has given him the ability to support a wide range of skill levels, interests, and subject areas. He’s known for simplifying complex processes and breaking down the college application process into clear, manageable steps. He is an active listener who understands what matters most to students and families to guide them toward choices that truly fit their goals, all while creating an environment where they feel supported and confident. Will is ready to work as a team to help you get into college and achieve your dreams!
In his free time, Will enjoys reading speculative science fiction, hiking with his partner, learning about new trends in college applications and enrollments, cheering for both childhood and hometown sports teams, and exploring all that Philadelphia has to offer.

William holds an MBA from the University of Miami Herbert Business School and has a wealth of admissions experience. He has served as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at UCLA, Assistant Director of Admissions at Connecticut College, Senior Admissions Evaluator at UC Santa Cruz, and Application Reader at Pomona College. Currently, William serves as the Sr. Recruitment & Admissions Associate for the Master of Science in Business Analytics Program at the University of California, Irvine.
William has held counseling roles on all sides of the desk: as an admissions officer representing a college, a college counselor representing a private school, and a consultant representing a private business. This gives him a well-rounded perspective on what top schools are looking for and how candidates can differentiate themselves in their applications. In his 15-year career, most of the students William has coached have been admitted to the Top 50 national research universities and the top 30 national liberal arts colleges within the United States.
William understands that with over 25,000 colleges worldwide, the college admissions process is complex and competitive. It can be overwhelming, and students can get caught up in the frenzy of applying to college and not "apply themselves" to college. Thus, he is passionate about helping students take ownership of their college search process while developing their resumes, crafting compelling essays to showcase their personalities, and preparing them for interviews.
William’s greatest strength is his understanding that counseling is about relationship building. A working partnership with William involves high-quality work and a sense of humor, which he believes past students and families appreciate, given that the college process can be stressful. Though he is now closer to students' parents' ages, he is still a "big kid" and can easily relate to Gen Z.
In his spare time, William is an active sports fan and player, primarily playing and watching basketball, football, tennis, and golf. He also loves geeking out on video games and Marvel movies.

Yashvi earned her BA from Cornell University, followed by an MBA from Columbia Business School. She has experience providing college application support through Minds Matter, a not-for-profit organization offering support to driven, low-income students. Currently, she is a Senior Business Operations & Strategy Manager at Integral Ad Science. She also serves as an alumni interviewer at Cornell University and Columbia Business School.
During her time at Cornell, Yashvi interned at notable companies, including Johnson & Johnson, KPMG, and Goldman & Sachs. At Columbia, Yashvi was a Business Analytics Executive Education Course Leader, as well as a member of the Silfen Leadership Series Student Board, Student Leadership & Ethics Board, and Hermes Society.
Yashvi’s passion for coaching college applicants stems from her own academic journey and the impact that mentorship had on her. As a first-generation student from Singapore, she understands firsthand how transformative education can be and how complex the application process can feel—especially when navigating it without a roadmap. The experience of getting into her top-choice schools reinforced how much strategy, storytelling, and self-awareness matter in crafting a compelling application. Her work with Minds Matter has also been particularly meaningful—supporting high-achieving, low-income students through the application journey has shown her how guidance and access to the right resources can change someone’s trajectory.
What excites Yashvi most is helping applicants tell their story authentically—not just listing achievements, but crafting a narrative that reflects their values, ambitions, and unique experiences. The college process can feel daunting, but Yashvi believes having the right coach can make all the difference. She loves being that guide, ensuring that students not only put their best foot forward, but also gain clarity on their own strengths and potential along the way.
As an experienced advertising technology professional, Yashvi brings a strategic, data-driven mindset to the coaching process—helping candidates position themselves effectively based on their unique strengths and experiences. She also deeply understands the importance of storytelling in applications, especially for those who may not be natural test-takers. She knows how to leverage strong essays to showcase student potential, ultimately securing admission to top-choice schools. This allows her to guide applicants in balancing their applications strategically so that their story, leadership, and unique perspectives shine through. Additionally, she understands the importance of timelines and ensures students stay on track throughout the process.
In her spare time, Yashvi enjoys exploring NYC, traveling, staying active through fitness and yoga, and reading books.
Yashvi’s Pro Tip?
Admissions are more holistic than people think. Many applicants believe they need a perfect GPA, test scores, or a long list of achievements to get in, but what truly differentiates candidates is a clear, authentic narrative. The most compelling applications aren’t just a collection of accomplishments—they tell a cohesive story about who the applicant is, what they care about, and how they would contribute to the school community. Admissions committees don’t just select the “best” candidates, but the right candidates for that particular program. Strong applicants should understand what makes a school unique and clearly explain why they are a good fit, beyond ranking or reputation.

Yi is a former tenured professor turned admissions expert and entrepreneur who brings a uniquely rigorous, 360-degree perspective to college admissions coaching. He holds a PhD from the University of Michigan, an MS from the University of California, Irvine, and an MBA from Duke University, where he received a full-tuition Manning Family Scholarship. Yi has guided students into top colleges, including the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Michigan, UT Austin, Rice, and others.
Yi’s passion for coaching stems from having sat on both sides of the admissions table—as a tenured professor at the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health serving on formal admissions committees as an application reader and making admissions decisions. Yi’s time as an application reader allowed him to focus on evaluating non-academic aspects of applicants' profiles and to engage in committee discussion. Now, Yi works as an admissions consultant, helping students frame their experiences with authenticity and strategy. His approach is grounded in a fundamental belief: the most successful application is not just a list of achievements; it’s a persuasive, authentic argument for admission.
Yi doesn’t just help students build an application. He helps them build a case for acceptance. Drawing from his work evaluating research innovations at Yale, founding companies, and mentoring entrepreneurs, he teaches students to connect the dots between raw talent, personal narrative, and strategic goals. He treats the college application like a business plan—highlighting leadership, value propositions, and impact. Whether it’s a student’s part-time job, club leadership, or personal challenge, Yi shows how each piece is a critical data point in the story of their potential.
Yi’s greatest strengths as a coach include applying an evaluator’s lens to help students understand what truly resonates with admissions committees, using a strategist’s mindset to craft cohesive and compelling narratives, and empowering students to own their voice. Yi believes the student is the CEO of their application. His role is that of a board member—offering tools, structure, and honest feedback—while encouraging students to engage deeply and take ownership of their process. He reminds students that it’s not about crafting a perfect application, but an authentic one.
As a coach, Yi’s approach to admissions consulting doesn’t end with college acceptances; it equips students with the confidence and clarity to pitch ideas, win internships, and lead with purpose long after admission. Yi’s multifaceted background makes him a dynamic, relatable, and strategic guide through every step of the admissions journey. As an empowering mentor, Yi understands that the admissions process is deeply personal. His strength lies in helping students discover and articulate their authentic voice. He helps them uncover the powerful stories within their experiences and give them the confidence to present themselves with the maturity and self-awareness that top-tier institutions actively seek.
Outside of coaching, Yi is a dedicated endurance athlete, having completed the Boston Marathon and triathlons. He’s also an actor who auditions for theater, commercials, and musicals, and he enjoys weightlifting.
Yi’s Pro Tip?
Trust the process and your journey. It's easy to get caught in the “comparison trap” with peers. Successful applicants leverage their unique story and ensure they find a college that is the right fit for who they are and who they aspire to be.

She finds it incredibly fulfilling to support students during such a pivotal moment in their lives.
Outside of admissions work, Zoe enjoys playing volleyball, doing NYT puzzles, reading, fostering cats, watching sports and Scandal, and exploring new podcasts.
Zoe’s Pro Tip?
It’s important for applicants to present a cohesive narrative that reflects both academic readiness and genuine personal development. Clear writing, purposeful storytelling, and a well-defined sense of direction often set competitive candidates apart. Admissions committees also look for patterns in an applicant’s experiences that suggest resilience, preparedness, and the ability to thrive with the support available. A strong application should communicate both capability and the context that shaped it.
