Robin holds a BA from the University of California, Davis, and both an MS and PhD from Carnegie Mellon University. She has over extensive  experience in teaching, research, and leadership in higher education. While she has served as an Associate Professor at Ohio State University for 12+ years, she previously served as a Department Chair and Faculty Senate Chair at OSU for several years. In these roles, she was closely involved in the admissions process.

Over her 20 years at OSU, Robin has worked regularly with the admissions office on initiatives involving recruitment. She has also collaborated with admissions professionals on scholarships, transfer streamlining, accreditation, curricular assessment, and admissions. Students she has coached have been accepted into Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, Harvard, Emory, Princeton, Yale, UCLA, UC Berkeley, and others. Along with her extensive admissions experience, Robin was a Fulbright Reviewer and has earned numerous accolades, including being a finalist for the University Teaching Excellence Award and the Presidential Teaching Award and the recipient of the Goldman Graduate Teaching Award. She was also an honorable mention for the Journal of Women's Best Article.

Robin believes that a university education is an empowering experience and the opportunity of a lifetime. She is passionate about extending that opportunity to as many students as possible. Having seen firsthand how complex and overwhelming the application process can be, she is dedicated to guiding students every step of the way. She firmly believes that with the right support, all students can achieve their educational goals. 

As a coach, Robin excels at bringing the big picture into focus by focusing on listening to students’ personal narratives and matching those ideas to an optimal plan of action. She believes that while there are essential foundations to a successful admissions process, each student’s journey is unique. Robin works closely with students to craft a tailored, strategic approach—one that feels manageable, authentic, and sets them up for success.

Outside of coaching and teaching, Robin is a vocalist/singer and vocal coach. She works with singers and public speakers who want to improve their voice and vocal range.

The admissions landscape is constantly evolving as universities adapt to new challenges and goals. Having a flexible strategy and a clear understanding of how to meet shifting expectations is essential for success. 

Rachel graduated with a BS from Cornell University after getting accepted through Early Decision. After college, she attended Boston College Law School, graduating with a JD and receiving the Award for Clinical Excellence for her work with the Innocence Clinic. Rachel is passionate about helping students confidently navigate the college admissions process. 

Rachel’s experiences throughout her higher education journey are precious to her and inspired her to use her coaching talents to help others achieve their goals. She understands that navigating the college admissions process can sometimes be overwhelming and anxiety-inducing for students. One of her greatest strengths as a coach is her ability to demystify the college application and make it easier for students and families to understand. She aims to alleviate applicants’ stress and worries through compassionate coaching, enabling students to focus on showcasing their strengths and crafting compelling application documents. 

Rachel’s approach to college admissions consulting is light-hearted and relaxed, allowing students to open up and share their most meaningful stories. When working with Quad Education applicants, Rachel is committed to ensuring the process is broken down into manageable steps, helping students efficiently reach key milestones. Rachel is a master at building realistic timelines for students, enabling them to stay on top of all application materials. She’s also an adept editor, ready to help students perfect their personal statements, essays, and other documents. 

When Rachel isn’t coaching, she enjoys visiting her family and taking long walks with her golden lab, Bella.

Jennifer has a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and over 20 years of experience in higher education admissions. Most recently, Jennifer has served as the Director of College Counseling at Springdale Preparatory School. Previously, she has also served on admissions committees at Harvard University and Washington University in St. Louis.

In these roles, Jennifer was responsible for recruitment, making scholarship decisions, student credential evaluation, transfer credit evaluation, and interviewing applicants. This extensive experience gives Jennifer a unique, holistic understanding of selective undergraduate programs. She enjoys encouraging college applicants to maintain a big-picture view of their professional and personal goals and helping them understand the factors that will contribute to a deep engagement with the institution.

Jennifer’s greatest strengths as a coach include helping students articulate their strengths and unique attributes in their college essays, presenting a range of academic programs for consideration, and strategic planning stretching beyond the college experience,

When Jennifer isn’t coaching, she enjoys playing the harp, gardening, and hiking with her beagles. She also loves baking with her twin daughters, traveling, and watching sunrises over the Atlantic and sunsets over Lake Michigan.
