Demi has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science & Policy with a Minor in Political Science from Duke University. She has also earned a JD from The University of North Carolina School of Law. Professionally, Demi has worked closely with the Academic Advising office at Emory School of Law. Her most significant learning from this experience is that there is no perfect candidate alone; each candidate comes together with the incoming student body to form a great class. Some candidates had more experience while others had a better academic record, but the incoming class was always whole.

Demi's passion for coaching stemmed from the help she received when applying to college herself. Based on her environment and situation, she did not have the resources to go to college. However, she had mentors who helped her at every step; they encouraged her to participate in pre-college programs she wasn't sure she qualified for, and they encouraged her to sign up for competitions she never dreamed of. Most importantly, her mentors believed there was no limit to what she could do and were willing to get her where she needed to go. Demi understands the difficulties of applying to college, and her goal is to help applicants have options on where they go to college and beyond.

Demi's greatest strengths as a coach include helping Quad applicants look through their experiences in a non-intrusive way to see the best version of themselves and articulate it in their application materials. She is also a great listener and takes extra steps to ensure the entire family feels involved and comfortable during the process.

When Demi isn't coaching, she enjoys drinking international teas, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her husband and cat.

Terry has a Bachelor’s degree from Duke University and over three years of experience guiding students on their path to college. While at Duke, he served as an Admissions Assistant, where he learned that rigor, GPA, and test scores are only a piece of the equation for admissions success. 

Professionally, Terry has over a decade of teaching experience in middle and high school, where he taught various subjects, including math, science, social studies, and Spanish. Currently, he is co-writing a book on mastering the digital SAT and putting together videos on how to write a winning college essay. 

Terry is passionate about coaching college applicants because he has always enjoyed working with adolescents and feels tremendous accomplishment when they succeed. He also loves to see students learn and develop throughout the application process.

Terry’s greatest strength as a coach is his ability to build a strong rapport with students and motivate them to succeed. He also excels at guiding students toward highlighting unique, relevant experiences, ensuring they fill in all the pieces that make a well-rounded application. 

Students Terry has coached have gotten accepted into several top-tier institutions, including Duke University, Emory University, Yale University, Cornell University, Johns Hopkins University, Michigan University, University of Virginia, Rice University, Washington (St. Louis), and Georgetown University.

When he’s not working, Terry loves to sing, drum, write, compose, and hike. He also enjoys appearing on an occasional podcast or sketch comedy bit.

Anthony has a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies from the University of Chicago. He also has earned a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology from Harvard University. While at Harvard, Anthony served as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies. He interviewed prospective students interested in majoring in Classics and the humanities and wrote letters of evaluation for the admissions committee. Professionally, Anthony has over ten years of experience as an educator.

Anthony’s passion for coaching stems from his drive to ensure that deserving students get access to quality education, regardless of their background. Anthony knows how valuable guidance during the college admissions process can be, especially for those with limited means or those who lack access to formal guidance. He strives to do everything in his power to help students access quality education and unlock their full potential.

When it comes to coaching, Anthony’s greatest strength is his ability to holistically approach students as human beings, identifying their premier qualities derived from every facet of their lives that have contributed to their growth and development. 

When Anthony isn’t coaching students, he enjoys woodworking, especially the notion of creating sophisticated objects from raw materials.
