Personalized Vanderbilt University Admissions Counselors

Bridget has a Bachelor’s from Vanderbilt University. Over the past three years, she has collaborated with QuestBridge as a peer mentor, guiding students toward their dream of attending prestigious universities such as Vanderbilt, Duke, and Cornell. Her expertise encompasses a range of critical areas, including resume building, identifying suitable recommenders, refining essays, navigating the application submission process, and providing interview coaching.

Bridget's passion lies in witnessing the transformation of applicants. She excels in helping students articulate and showcase their passions, strengths, and aspirations, enabling them to grow as applicants and well-rounded individuals. Her commitment to clear and effective communication ensures that expectations are consistently met, and feedback is constructive and well-received.

Bridget’s approach is characterized by empathy and encouragement, placing a high value on the interpersonal relationships she builds with each applicant. 

Outside of her professional endeavors, Bridget enjoys a rich personal life. She is an avid reader with a keen interest in fiction and philosophy. She also enjoys staying connected with her family through regular FaceTime chats with her sisters, practicing  German over coffee, and engaging in outdoor activities like hiking and walking with friends.

Gabriel has a Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s from New York University. With over a decade of experience as a counselor, he has helped over 3,000 students navigate the college application process, receiving acceptances from the country’s top universities, including Cornell, Vanderbilt, Johns Hopkins, Duke, and Stanford. 

As a coach, Gabriel leaves no stone unturned in the process. He is incredibly passionate about working with students and their families students to develop and execute their college application strategy. His experience working in college recruitment sparked his mission to work directly with students and families throughout the application process. He is deeply inspired by watching students grow as they find their best fit and gain acceptance to their dream schools. 

Gabriel’s greatest strength as a coach is his ability to help students and their families understand the application process and help them manage expectations. He understands that navigating this process with care and understanding can make or break the application process for families. Gabriel also excels at helping Quad students create well-balanced college lists and present themselves as ideal candidates through essay building, editing, and polishing. 

When Gabriel isn’t coaching, he enjoys spending time with his family, working out, and working on home projects.

Tamar holds a Bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School. While at Vanderbilt, Tamar served as an Admissions Interviewer, conducting interviews and providing insightful recommendations to the admissions committee regarding applicants. This experience gives her invaluable insight into what admissions committees are looking for during the interview, and she looks forward to sharing her knowledge and expertise with Quad applicants. 

Tamar has a deep passion for working with students. Throughout her life, she has been involved in both tutoring and teaching. She finds immense satisfaction in offering one-on-one guidance, acting as a support system and cheerleader for students during the often stressful college admissions process. 

As a coach, Tamar prides herself on her meticulous attention to detail, making her exceptional at editing resumes and essays. Additionally, her organizational skills have proven to be an invaluable asset to students navigating the admissions journey.

Outside of her professional life, Tamar enjoys baking, indulging in a good book, and learning how to surf.
