Andrea wanted to work with a company that would assist her and her son Ian as they navigated the college admissions process. Andrea said that the process today “is much, much different than when I applied 30 years ago to colleges and universities.”
Andrea’s search for college admissions guidance brought her to Quad Education. One of the main support elements she sought was “input on what high-level colleges and universities are looking at, and what kind of things they focus on as far as essays.” She also wanted support navigating different application timelines, such as early decision and other decision pathways.
From the first meeting with their counselor, Andrea was “confident she would do a great job,” because of her professionalism, expertise, and friendliness. “We had a lot of confidence and faith that she wouldn’t steer us wrong.” Quad Education’s high-level project tracking ensured that Andrea and her son stayed on top of application deadlines and worked at a pace that was comfortable for them.
Andrea said her son’s counselor met and exceeded her expectations. Her son was happy to meet with his consultant and “looked forward to their scheduled talks.” We always work around students’ and families’ busy schedules to help them craft the ultimate applications. “[Our counselor] helped us make the process easy and less stressful,” said Andrea.
Our commitment to getting to know each student we work with facilitates open communication to help us explore and pinpoint each student’s most meaningful experiences, best traits, and unique stories. Andea said their Quad Education counselor asked a lot of excellent questions to find key points to share in her son’s application essays.
Andrea’s son was accepted to the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, his first-choice school!
