Ramya Shares How Quad Education Helped Her Get Accepted to NYU

Ramya found it difficult to juggle applying to colleges with senior-year coursework and participating in extracurricular activities. “What I found a little difficult was trying to navigate the whole thing, because it’s a pretty complicated process with everything involved,” she said.

She wasn’t sure what colleges would want to see from applicants, and didn’t know a lot about the Common Application or the writing involved. “I didn’t really know much about it before I went into the admissions process,” she said. Ramya wasn’t sure what to write about or how to ensure her application would stand out—that’s where Quad Education stepped in!

How Quad Education Helped

We helped Ramya understand college application requirements and the admissions process as a whole. She said it was great to have insight into “how to do everything and what colleges wanted to see.”

Personalized support is at the heart of every interaction we have with students—Ramya loved “how involved the counselors were with the process” and how they made a genuine effort to connect with her and evaluate her strengths as an applicant.

We supported Ramya through the Common Application writing process, ensuring her writing reflected her unique story, strengths, and experiences. “I liked how [my counselor] really made an effort to get to know me so we could find a good topic to write about,” she said. We empowered Ramya to write and refine an expertly crafted personal statement, supplemental essays, and resume.

Ramya was accepted to New York University!
